Slab foundation repair
1 week
Live Oak, Texas
Bexar
This slab foundation home in Live Oak, Texas showed severe damage. The crack in the concrete spanned the length of the short wall. Crumbling was causing the corner of the house to slip forward. The floor inside the bedroom floor was also showing severe shifting.
Jack and his crew repaired this foundation and leveled the house.
The horizontal crack and splitting was cause for concern. Jack decided to first bolt in a coated steel mesh to prevent the separated concrete sections from slipping. Once secured, the slab was raised back to level and supported by a thick high-tensile concrete pier.
The crew had to trim out a section of adjacent concrete to gain access to the foundation’s underside. The ressected portion of sidewalk was kept to the absolute minimum, and was rebuilt at the end to look better than the original!
Jack’s motto is to do what is necessary and not sell what’s not needed. He is the point of contact from start to end. He takes pride in leaving the job site neat and clean and assures quality work and lasting results.
